Ian RamsayIan Ramsay

Ian specialises in the domestic and international carriage of goods by road, insurance related claims and other commercial litigation matters. He acts on behalf of various insurance companies, carriers, freight forwarders and warehouses. He is involved in a broad band of litigation, mediation and acting in an advisory capacity.

He was involved in early 2001 in the first case to go to Judicial Review in challenging the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999. In this case he acted for a haulier, who was fined after illegal immigrants were found in their trailer at Dover.

He is a founder member of Holmes Hardingham.
