David has practised law in the City since 1969 and from 1989 has been a Consultant with Holmes Hardingham.
David has a wide practice encompassing both contentious and non-contentious work
which includes: ship sale and purchase; ship finance; charter-party and bill of
lading disputes and arbitrations; insurance disputes relating to goods in
transit and warehousing; general common law litigation (claims in tort for loss
and damage caused by negligence or nuisance); construction and engineering
contract disputes; and drafting conditions of business and standard conditions
of sale.
