David Johnston

David first qualified as an attorney in South Africa in 1973 before moving to London in 1974. He became a solicitor and a shipping law specialist.

A leading law directory describes him as a “yachting authority... ‘consistently spot on’...earning acclaim for his ‘sensible and practical approach to deals”.

With nearly 30 years relevant experience David heads our Yacht Team, dealing in all aspects of the law relating to pleasure craft.
David maintains an active interest in yachts, both sail and power, and boating matters. He is a member of the RYA, the CA and a number of private yacht clubs
