Adrian Hardingham
After graduating with a degree in law, Adrian specialised almost immediately in transport, shipping and insurance matters, encompassing international and domestic carriage of goods by road, sea and air, marine insurance (particularly cargo risks) and general commercial insurance.
Important cases handled include Buchanan v. Babco (H.L. 1978), Silber v. Islander Trucking (1985), The "Rewia" (C.A. 1991) and Spectra v. Hayesoak (C.A.1997).
Major clients include UK and overseas underwriters, traders, carriers, freight forwarders, and insurance recovery agents. Recommended as a leading practitioner in his field by the main guides to the legal profession, Adrian has contributed various articles to Lloyd's Maritime and Commercial Law Quarterly. He holds a private pilot's licence.
